About the Event

Are Predicaments your Bread and Butter? Love the panic when choosing between Sweet and Sour? Do you want to Relish the experience of collaborative creation, painful puzzle-crafting, and all things sadomasochism? Then “What A Pickle” might just be the real Dill.

While this is not a class or workshop, we are a collective of people who love to learn and grow by sharing experiences, collaborating, and finding enrichment through group exploration. This will be a talk-and-practice space where we can walk through ideas that need fine-tuning, discuss approaches that have enhanced our play, and even develop new ways to torment or be tormented! There is a special type of magic to a room full of inspired kinksters who want to make something devastating and delightful, painful and pleasing, bitter and sweet; this group’s focus is to capture that lightning in a bottle (or pickle jar) and share it amongst ourselves and our friends!

Who should come?

ANYONE! You don’t have to be a sadist or D type to love predicaments. Often, the best person to create a predicament is the person who will be in it! New, experienced, D-type, s-type, S/switchy - all are welcome! The only prerequisite is a desire to be in community and create cool predicaments with friends!

What should I bring?

  1. Bring at least one idea of a predicament that you want to talk through with the group.
  2. One random household objectfor a game!
  3. It’s not necessary, but paper/notebook and a writing utensil are strongly encouraged.

What can I expect to do at this event?

The first half will be primarily talk-based and focused on workshopping ideas. The focus will be on collaborative planning, problem solving, and community building. We will wrap up the first half with a group activity with the household items you bring in! The second half will be focused on labbing out predicaments which can be as hands-on or off as you like!
