School of Hard Knocks: Literary Edition!

School isn’t out for summer just yet… Come join your kinky classmates, and your hosts Lisichka & Melusine, at the School of Hard Knocks: Literary Edition! 

At this lab, we’ll be co-creating some clever ways to incorporate literature into play. 

Poetry through pain? 

Latin class with sass?

Dialogue under duress? 

Shakespeare & Chill? (Nay! Thou shalt Struggle!)

Hosts will facilitate some guided experiences (Latin literature with impact and other dramatic readings under duress) and provide resources for participants to use as a springboard for their own scenes. Bring your unique ideas, and be ready to have lots of fun.

About the Event

This is a skill share & social event (not a formal class), and scenes are allowed and encouraged. Feel free to bring your skills and ideas (and implements) to use or share with the group. You are welcome to play on your own, participate in scenes facilitated by your hosts, socialize, or simply observe.

We’ll start with a brief opening circle. After introductions all around, your hosts will go over some house rules, and the group can share ideas and intentions for the evening.  After that, the space is yours for playing, talking, tying, and learning.
