Rope Lab - 10/26 + Office Hours with Miss Acacia + Spooky Theme Special - 9/14
Time & Location
Oct 26, 2021, 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Upline Studio, 1 Hartford Square, New Britain, CT 06052, USA
About the Event
This Rope Lab will include Office Hours with Miss Acacia. This is your chance to really work on your rope with the help of our wonderful local presenter, Miss Acacia. During office hours you are encouraged to come with questions and get help troubleshooting your rope, perfecting your technique, or just to talk shop with an experienced rigger.
Spooky themed rope circle: bring Halloween themed props to share, and have fun figuring out different ways to incorporate them into rope. See how many different ways we can come up with!
The following precautions will be in place for this event:
- Masks will be mandatory inside the building at all times except when eating or drinking.
- Our capacity (guests, staff, and presenters included) will be capped at 20 people.
- Events will only be held when every person present has signed a vaccination waiver statement.
The vaccination waiver text will be as follows: "I, [scene name], hereby affirm that I have received my final dose of an FDA-approved COVID-19 vaccine 14 days or more prior to today's date of [today's date]. I understand and agree that if the information provided here is inaccurate or false that I will be automatically and permanently banned from all of Upline's physical and virtual spaces with no appeals process available to me."
About Rope Lab
Rope Lab is your opportunity to tie, get tied, and talk shop. This is a skill share event, though scenes are allowed. If you are new to rope, you can get an intro to what we do in a friendly and relaxed environment. If you are an experienced ropester, feel free to share your knowledge. This is also a great opportunity to meet others in the community.
We will start with a quick opening circle where introductions will be made and intentions set. After that, we will do a basic intro rope 101 for anyone interested. You are free to join or form your own group and share your knowledge.
