About the Event

Queer Rope Lab is a social gathering for self-identified queer folks interested in rope bondage. Come tie, get tied, skill share, and socialize with other queer rope enthusiasts, in a welcoming environment centering queer, trans, and non-binary people.

This is a skill share event (not a class), although scenes are allowed. If you are new to rope, you can get an informal intro to what we do in a friendly and relaxed environment. If you are an experienced ropester, feel free to share your knowledge. This is also a great opportunity to meet others in the community.

We will start with a quick opening circle for folks to introduce themselves and share intentions for the evening. After that, the space will be open for play, labbing, and learning. For folks new to rope or looking for a refresher, a brief rope 101 will be taught.

Is this event for me?

If you self-identify as queer, you are “queer enough” and this event is for you! We will not be scrutinizing anyone's queerness.

If you don't identify as queer, this is not the space for you. Please respect that this is an intentional space for those who identify as queer.

Covid Policy

For this event, proof of covid vaccination (original series + one booster) is required for entry. Please be prepared to show your vaccine card - photo proof or other documentation is also acceptable.
