Pretty Rope on the Red Carpet: The Show

The 3rd Annual Upline Pretty Rope Runway Show is back!

Where: The Lyceum, 227 Lawrence St, Hartford, CT

Free on site parking

The first part of the evening will be spent tying your pretty rope and then the models will take their turn on the Red Carpet, displaying the artwork they have become.

Tie or be tied or just come and take it all in.

Although put together as a series, the first two Pretty Rope classes were not a prerequisite for attending the Red Carpet Event.

Come with a tying partner or choose to self-tie. If you can't find a rope top, there may be a very limited number available during the evening. We will try to accommodate getting rope on anyone who wants a turn on the runway, although we can't make guarantees.

Photographers will be capturing your Red Carpet looks live during the show if you desire.

We welcome you to get all dressed up. It is a Red Carpet Event after all! (same rules as Upline - bottom bits must be covered).

Mocktails will be available and positive cheering will be encouraged.

If you would like to attend as a spectator, that is also welcome.

No specific lessons will be taught but Dulcinea and SilverFoxIndeed will be available to help bring your ideas to life.

About the Presenters

@Dulcinea_ discovered rope in 2017, and having a lifelong love of textiles, art and personal connection she quickly gravitated to pretty rope. Her natural style is less structured and free flowing, she takes a 'let’s see where the rope leads us' approach. She loves all things rope and has become a respected teacher and mentor in the community.

@SilverFoxIndeed leans toward symmetrical and structured rope patterns, and likes the connection between two or more people when they collaborate to make living art. He met Dulcinea in 2018, in fact she taught him his first Rope 101 course! He and Dulcinea quickly became friends and she became his mentor and biggest fan.
