About the Event

Partials and predicaments are a fun way to enjoy rope without full suspension. While partials and predicaments are more advanced than beginner level rope, they can be implemented in many different ways. We have developed this four class series to explore some of those methods. 

Partials vary widely. They can be as basic as only suspending a single leg or arm or as complex as a near-full suspension with just a single toe touching the ground. Predicaments, on the other hand, involve creating situations in which the bottom is forced to choose the way they will struggle. Predicaments often require a careful balance of weight distribution, tension, and time management.

This series will include four classes to teach partials and predicaments in four specific areas (using props, hashira, impact & rope, and sadistict partials). This class class will focus on Sadistic Partials: This class will focus specifically on methods of bringing sadism into your partials and predicaments. These methods can include using the rope itself, the body of the bottom, or props.


  • Must know a non-collapsible single column
  • Must be skilled with anchors and uplines
  • Must have a working understanding of suspension safe harnesses

About the Presenter

Miss_Acacia has been creating art in rope bondage and suspension since 2014. With a preference for symmetry and a focus on detail, her goal is to create a tie that works for her bottom’s body while still showcasing the beauty of rope. Starting with self-suspension, she progressed to suspending others with an understanding of both sides of the suspension experience. She continues to focus on the fundamentals no matter how far her rope journey takes her, because she wants to understand the how and the why behind the structure of each tie. Once she feels she understands the purpose of each part, she is able to use them to transition and contort her bottom with the right ties for that sequence. She is frequently brainstorming with fellow rope enthusiasts to improve harnesses and make the most sustainable ties for her bottoms. In teaching, she focuses on making sure that bottoms and tops both grasp what the rope should look and feel like. She teaches for understanding of how each part and pattern works instead of memorizing patterns so that her students are better equipped to continue their education.
